Puppies we are expecting and planning…  some availability.

This page showcases the pairings we’ve done or are planning, so you can see if there is a special one that interests you for your own Cobberdog puppy. Remember that our plans may change, for many and varied reasons, but we think our pups are worth the wait! 

At Ridgy Didge we have to plan ahead and it can be tricky! Our girls only have 2 litters, and they live with their guardian families. Cycles can be changeable, pregnancy might not eventuate, and sometimes dogs don’t continue to the breeding program because they did not meet our strict health and genetic screening standards.  We are committed to this health and genetic screening and very careful pairing to ensure every RD puppy has the best chance of a long healthy life with no inherited diseases.  You can see the health profiles of each of our breeding dogs on their feature page.

We encourage all puppy buyers to research extensively to ensure your chosen puppy has had all the health screening and genetic testing that we practice and recommend at Ridgy Didge.

July Litters

We still have limited availability in this litter.

Pups would go home in early September all being well.
Size planned will be medium
Coat colours planned will be gold & white parti, brown & white parti possibly black & white parti and maybe black.

We are expecting these pups pups to have lovely laid back temperaments which will suit therapy or assistance work when trained appropriately. Pippi comes from Shimmer and Zorro who have produced both assistance and therapy dogs. Pippi’s sister Poppy also produced a beautiful litter from Raffa and some of these pups are in training for therapy work. This will be Pippi’s second and final litter. Pups will be due in July and ready for home coming in September. Pups will have straight fleece low to non shedding coats and will be small medium to medium in size. Phoebe/ Zorro litter will be due in July, ready for home coming in September. This will be Phoebe’s second and final litter. Phoebe is the prettiest sweetest girl and excelled in scent work. We raised Zorro from a puppy and his temperament is faultless, he is Pippi & Poppy’s sire. He has excellent hips and elbows and clear DNA profile. Pups again will be suitable for therapy and assistance work if trained appropriately. We are expecting calm, confident pups in colours of brown, gold and black, all with fleece coats. Remember when searching for a potential puppy colour should be last on your priority list. We will keep you posted when this pair are bred. This waitlist has vacancy at present if booked soon.
