Puppies we are expecting and planning…  some availability.

This page showcases the pairings we’ve done or are planning, so you can see if there is a special one that interests you for your own Cobberdog puppy. Remember that our plans may change, for many and varied reasons, but we think our pups are worth the wait! 

At Ridgy Didge we have to plan ahead and it can be tricky! Our girls only have 2 litters, and they live with their guardian families. Cycles can be changeable, pregnancy might not eventuate, and sometimes dogs don’t continue to the breeding program because they did not meet our strict health and genetic screening standards.  We are committed to this health and genetic screening and very careful pairing to ensure every RD puppy has the best chance of a long healthy life with no inherited diseases.  You can see the health profiles of each of our breeding dogs on their feature page.

We encourage all puppy buyers to research extensively to ensure your chosen puppy has had all the health screening and genetic testing that we practice and recommend at Ridgy Didge.

December Litters

What a lovely pairing of two beautifully calm dogs, we are very excited to see their pups. Both are small medium with really good hip scores and DNA which means pups are off to a good start, both have lovely soft fleece coats. Galaxy has natural therapy dog traits which her guardian family love. She carries for parti so hoping for some black and white, brown and white and some solid colours of brown, black and blonde. Domino brings some fresh bloodlines from Caralee and comes from a line of dogs with lovely calm temperaments. Pups are due around December 2nd & ready to go around 27th January. This litter is full booked unless Galaxy has more pups than expected and then we will announce any availability.

January Litters

Millie and Cody should have a gorgeous litter of small medium, fleece coated pups in shades of gold through to blonde. Both these dogs have super sweet temperaments, Millie being a patient and gentle companion for her guardian kids. Cody a devoted companion for his guardian and playmate for his guardian grandchildren. These two dogs both returned excellent in their hip scores (an exciting result for us) and clear DNA results, making them a healthy pair for breeding. Millie is due to cycle any day so we are just waiting at present, but expect pups would be ready around late Febuary. This litter is fully booked unless Millie has more than expected number of pups.

February Litters

Zorro always brings a level of calm confidence to his pups which makes them ideal for family pets and more than often there is a pup suitable for therapy work. We expect these pups to be medium in size in colours of brown blonde and gold. Clara lives with her guardian family near the beach and loves to play in the water and come home and rest. We expecting Clara to cycle in November/December so will update this when we have some dates. We are taking bookings now for this litter and there is still some availability.

Tilly and Aztec should produce a litter of small medium pups in colours of blonde and golds. Tilly’s sire was red so there could be some darker colours of gold. We thank Karra Creek for the services of Aztec who comes from our girl Zara. Both these dogs have lovely temperaments and there could be a therapy prospect in the litter. We are presently expecting Tilly to cycle in November/ December making pups ready around May 2026, there is full availability in this litter at present.

March Litters

Gretel is the most friendly sweet and adorable large miniature girl with the silkiest fleece coat. This will be her second litter, her first producing lovely sweet natured pups with gorgeous fleece coats. She will be bred to Cody who is just as sweet & a really well put together young dog. Pups will be large miniature to small medium with fleece coats and soft temperaments. Gretel is due to cycle late December/ early January making her pups ready around May 2026 check out their health scores on our breeding dog page. Bookings are open for this litter and there is availability.
